At Grupo Azvi we have dedicated to respecting the environment for the over two decades. This commitment is demonstrated through the implementation of our Aenor certified ISO 14001 standard Environmental Management System across all the countries where we operate. Grupo Azvi has been actively fighting against climate change for years. As a result of the steps taken, we calculated our carbon footprint for the first time in 2014. To further our commitment to acting against climate change, we have since extended this carbon footprint calculation to include our companies Manfevias and Ispalvia. The calculation is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the UNE-EN-ISO 14064-1:2019 Standard “Greenhouse gases. Part 1: Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals”. Additionally, the verification of our greenhouse gas inventory is carried out annually in line with this standard. In order to achieve our climate change objectives, we have drawn up our third GHG emissions Reduction Plan (2023-2025), which aims to reduce relative emissions by 10% by the end of this period. The protection and conservation of biodiversity is of the utmost importance for future generations. At Grupo Azvi we promote measures to prevent and minimise the possible impact on flora and fauna caused by our activities, as well as carrying out compensatory measures: Grupo Azvi’s business model is committed to the principles of the circular economy. We promote the rational use of natural resources and encourage the prevention and recovery of waste as opposed to landfill disposal, through efficient management of various types of waste.
